Drow Creation:Basics
Drow creation should begin not only with the concepts and descriptions from the Appearance section, but with an understanding of what it is you are portraying. The Drow are raised in an environment where they are constantly bathed by sorcerous rays that shape them. They are innately magical in nature as well as resistant to magic.
Drow are also able to move unseen second to no other race, and have superior night vision.
These aspects of the Drow can be handled in various ways with the in game mechanics.
Magic Resistance/Blend into Shadows: Both of these skills should be developed to some extent, and I believe according to the Codex:True Drow, that combined a player must have 100 points minimum between the two skills.
Better yet, a minimal of 60 Resist (to help resist all spells, but especially Poison spell), balanced stats (to resist the effects of Mind Blast spell) and at least an Adept skill (80.1) in hiding to make the Drow an effective stalker.
For the aspect of Infravision, Drow can carry or access a mortar and grind their own NightSight potions. Any character can make NightSight potions even at 0 skill level, so it is just a function of gathering the regs, bottles, and mortar.
